CHICAGO — The Cubs may be new to the whole victory parade and rally thing, but Chicago has an illustrious history of throwing some memorable celebratory parties.

Blackhawks rally, 2015:

Goalie Corey Crawford told reporters that his turn at the podium would be a "more PG" than the last time he took the mic. But the foul-mouthed goalie couldn't help himself. After being given the "championship belt" from Patrick Kane, Crawford's first words to the gathered crowd were "F------ right, Chicago!"

White Sox Rally, 2005:

The World Series-winning Sox had a theme song throughout the year, Journey's "Don't Stop Believing." So after the won the championship, it only made sense to bring Journey lead singer Steve Perry to the parade for an a capella version of the '80s hit.

Bulls Parade, 1998:

It was the end of an era, the sixth and final championship rally at Grant Park during the team's dominant era in the '90s. Head coach Phil Jackson confirmed many fans' concerns that he was leaving the team, saying he had a "wonderful last waltz."

Fans chanted "one more year!" but most players knew it was the end. On the way out, Michael Jordan blamed team owner Jerry Reinsdorf for the breaking up of the team.

From CBS Chicago:

"Jordan, however, couldn't resist taking a not-so-veiled shot at Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf, who had said on national television after the team won title No. 6 that he could only "hope and pray" Pippen and Jordan would return next year.

At Grant Park, Jordan told the crowd, "Let's hope and pray that we have the opportunity once again to share this type of environment with the city of Chicago. I know a lot of people didn't think we'd end up back in Grant Park this year. Nobody knows if we're going to be in Grant Park next year."

Bulls Rally, 1997

This year was peak Dennis Rodman as "The Worm" era. While the rest of the team came out wearing the same championship T-shirt and jeans, Rodman strolled onto stage in a multi-colored hat and a flowing, unbuttoned shirt.

It caused less of a stir than the previous rally, when Rodman swore on live TV. The enigmatic Rodman did say "hell" once at the 1997 rally, however, according to the Associated Press.

Bears Parade, 1986

It was definitely "Bears weather" for the Monsters of the Midway's parade to celebrate the 1985 Super Bowl win. The temperature was about zero degrees, and high winds made it feel like -32 degrees, according to a Chicago Tribune article from the day.

It didn't help that the team's plane from New Orleans was delayed by an hour, leaving fans waiting in the cold. Fans stuck around to see their beloved Bears, who rode atop a school bus.
