Terell Griffin, 27, Killed In Grand Crossing Shooting

CHICAGO — A 27-year-old man was found shot to death in Grand Crossing on Wednesday night, police said.

At 7:02 p.m., officers responding to a call of a person shot in the 7100 block of South Rhodes Avenue found the man, who was unresponsive, police said.

The man had been shot and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The man was identified as Terell Griffin, of the 8800 block of South Yale, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Griffin was pronounced dead at 7:55 p.m., and an autopsy showed he died of a gunshot wound in his side in a homicide.

No one was in custody.
