THE LOOP — Star chef Stephanie Izard is serving up what Cubs fans really want while celebrating a World Series title: goat.

Izard's "Little Goat Burger" will be sold for one day only Friday at Shake Shack during the Cubs' championship rally.

The cheeseburger, sold for $6.89, is topped with goat chili from Izard's Little Goat diner, pickled peppers, and sour cream. It will be available while supplies last at both Shake Shack's River North restaurant, 66 E. Ohio St., and inside the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel, 12 S. Michigan Ave.

"The curse has ended. Let's eat!" Mark Rosati, Shake Shack's culinary director, said in a statement.

The Cubs made history Wednesday after coming back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Cleveland Indians for their first World Series title in 108 years. Some superstitious fans attributed the Cubs' title drought to a curse bestowed on the team by a man kicked out of a game for bringing a goat into Wrigley Field.

Izard, a former "Top Chef" winner, is known for her acclaimed West Loop restaurants including Girl and the Goat, Little Goat, and Duck Duck Goat.
