
CHICAGO — A 28-year-old man was wounded in an East Garfield Park shooting early Wednesday, according to police.
At 11:58 a.m., the man was in the 300 block of South Whipple Avenue when shots rang out, police said.
He was struck in both his legs and managed to get himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
No arrests have been made.
