Englewood Shootings Wound 2 Since Monday, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man and a 38-year-old man were wounded in two shootings in Englewood since Monday afternoon, police said.

At 1:11 a.m. Tuesday, the 20-year-old man was in a store in the 7100 block of South State Street when a man fired shots from outside the store, police said.

He was hit in his leg and buttocks and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition, police said.

At 1:25 p.m. Monday, the 38-year-old man was shot in the 5900 block of South Justine Street, according to the Tribune.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in unknown condition, according to the Tribune.
