Aaron Bennett, 19, Killed In Belmont Cragin Shooting

CHICAGO — A shooting in Belmont Cragin killed Aaron Bennett, 19, officials said.

At 11:47 a.m. Friday, the man was in the 2400 block of North Kilpatrick Avenue when he got into an argument with someone and the other person shot him, police said. The man was hit in his head and was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in serious condition.

Bennett, of the 600 block of North Kedzie Avenue, was pronounced dead at 6:02 p.m. Saturday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. Bennett had been shot in the 2300 block of North Central Avenue, according to the office.
