CHICAGO — Don't look for ecstatic scenes of Cubs fans cheering from inside Wrigley Field during the rest of the World Series.
The Cubs and the City of Chicago said the 102-year-old Wrigley Field won't host a watch party for Game 6 of the World Series, which is being played in Cleveland Tuesday night. (Or Game 7 on Wednesday if the Cubs win Tuesday).
Cleveland's Progressive Field held raucous watch parties during Games 3, 4 and 5, which were held at Wrigley. Some 67,000 people came out for the three games to watch on the ballpark's video boards, donating $5 to charity to get in, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
