Robberies In Chinatown, Gage Park Prompt Police Warning

CHICAGO — A group of men have been robbing people in Gage Park and Chinatown, according to police.

Since Oct. 22, two people have been robbed by the same group of men, police said in a community alert.

In the incidents, three men walk up to the victim before they demand their property, police said.

The robberies happened:

• The evening of Oct. 22 in the 3100 block of West 53rd St in Gage Park
• The evening of Oct. 24 in the 300 block of West 24th Street in Chinatown

Anyone with information on the cases is asked to call area detectives at 312-747-8382.
