Noble Square Shooting Kills Phillip Lewis, Police Say

NOBLE SQUARE — A shooting in Noble Square killed Phillip Lewis, 33, on Wednesday, officials said. 

At 7:10 p.m., the man was shot in his head in the 800 block of North Racine Avenue, police said. 

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Phillip Lewis, of Matteson. An autopsy showed he died of multiple gunshot wounds, and the Medical Examiner's Office said Lewis was shot in the 900 block of North Racine Avenue.

No further information was available, police said.
