CHICAGO — A shooting in Back of the Yards left a 26-year-old man wounded on Tuesday night, police said.
At 7 p.m., the man was outside in the 4700 block of South Loomis Boulevard when someone in a car drove out of an alley and fired shots at the man, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was hit in his back and leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Lemmon said.
He is a documented gang member, police sources said.
No one was in custody.
