CHICAGO — A boys and girls club in West Garfield Park is capitalizing on the sky-high demand for the upcoming World Series tickets with a charity auction.

Off The Streets Club (OTSC), which offers after-school programs, tutoring and mentoring opportunities for the youth in West Garfield Park, announced Monday it will auction off two pairs of tickets for Game 3 between Cubs and Cleveland Indians at Wrigley Field on Friday.

The tickets will be center seats in the first row behind the Cubs dugout. All the proceeds from the auction will directly support OTSC's causes.

The Cubs' first World Series run in 71 years has already inflated ticket prices to insanely high levels. The cheapest first-row tickets behind the Cubs dugout were listed at $9,143 each on online ticket search engine SeatGeek.com at the time of posting. Some first-row seats in the area were selling at $14,700 each.

The auction is now live on eBay at AuctionforHope.com and will close at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
