CHICAGO — A shooting early Sunday morning in Rogers Park left a man dead, police said.
At 1:50 a.m., the 27-year-old man left his apartment in the 7300 block of North Sheridan Road but then came back and told friends that he had been shot in the back, said officer Michelle Tannehill.
He was taken in serious condition to St. Francis Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
