CHICAGO — A shooting in North Lawndale left a man dead early Sunday, police said.
At 2:10 a.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in his chest in the 1500 block of South Christiana Avenue and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
He has been identified as Isiah Hurley, of the 1300 block of South Lawndale Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Police in the area witnessed the shooting and then saw several people running away, police said. After a chase they were able to arrest two people and charges are pending, police said.
Four guns were recovered, police said.
