Garfield Park Shooting Kills Sentwali Davis, 37, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Garfield Park left a 37-year-old man dead early Saturday, police said.

At 1:40 a.m., officers found the man lying in an alley in the 4200 block of West Wilcox Street, police said. The man had been shot in his head multiple times and was dead at the scene.

He has been identified as Sentwali Davis, of the 2200 block of West Jackson Boulevard, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. He was pronounced dead at 2:02 a.m., according to the medical examiner.

No one was in custody.
