OLD TOWN — There's a debate before the final presidential debate at the Chicago History Museum Wednesday.

The museum plays host to a panel discussion before the third and final nationally televised debate between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump, which will be carried live in the museum's McCormick Theater.

Longtime Chicago political commentator Laura Washington will moderate the discussion, beginning at 7 p.m. The three panelists include former Illinois Republican Party Chairman Pat Brady, Clinton's Illinois press secretary Delmarie Cobb and Illinois Public Radio political reporter Amanda Vinicky. The 90-minute presidential debate will follow at 8 p.m.

The museum, 1601 N. Clark St., is open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Doors will reopen Wednesday at 6, with theater seating beginning at 6:45.

Tickets are $10, $5 for museum members and members of WBEZ-FM.
