CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was wounded in an Uptown shooting Sunday night, according to police.

The man was driving southbound in the 4500 block of North Hazel Street at 8:50 p.m. when someone began shooting at him, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

He was struck in his head and was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition, Amezaga said.

No arrests have been made.
