The breakfast will be at the Warde Academic Center on the university's main campus at 3700 W. 103rd St. in Mount Greenwood.
Scheduled to attend the event are 19th Ward Ald. Matt O'Shea, U.S. Rep. Daniel Lipinski (D-Ill.), state Sen. Bill Cunningham (D-Beverly), state Sen. Michael Hastings (D-Matteson), state Rep. Kelly Burke (D-Oak Lawn) and Cook County Commissioner John Daley.
Registration, networking and a buffet breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by legislator presentations and a question-and-answer session at 8 a.m. The Illinois budget and the state's Monetary Award Program, or MAP grants, will be among the topics of discussion.
