CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was killed in a Marquette Park shooting Sunday night, according to police.

Officers responded to calls of a man shot at 6:09 p.m. and found the man in the mouth of an alley in the 2500 block of West 68th Street, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man had been shot in his head and multiple times in the body, Quaid said. He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital where he was pronounced dead, he said.

The man has been identified as Latwon Rogers, of the 5800 block of South Campbell Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Rogers is a documented gang member, a police source said.
