CHICAGO — Five shootings in Garfield Park left five people wounded between Saturday morning and Sunday morning, police said.

• At 2:10 a.m. Sunday, a 32-year-old-man was shot in East Garfield Park, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 200 block of North Kedzie Avenue when a man approached him on foot and fired shots.

The man was hit on the right side of his body and was taken to Stroger Hospital in stable condition, police said.

• At 1:45 a.m. Sunday, a 25-year-old man was shot in East Garfield Park, police said. The man was in a vehicle in the 3000 block of West Van Buren Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his left arm and took himself to Mt. Sinai Hospital in stable condition, police said.

• At 1:45 a.m. Sunday, a 28-year-old man was shot in East Garfield Park, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 700 block of North Ridgeway Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his lower right leg and took himself to Mt. Sinai Hospital in stable condition, police said.

• At 9:50 p.m. Saturday, a 27-year-old man was shot in West Garfield Park, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 300 block of South Karlov Avenue when another man who was armed approached him in an attempted robbery. The man then grabbed the offender's gun and was shot in his right hand and his right hip was grazed.

The man was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in stable condition, police said.

• At 3:39 p.m. Saturday, a 40-year-old was shot in the 700 block of South Kenneth Avenue in Garfield Park.

No one was is in custody.
