NORWOOD PARK — Ald. Anthony Napolitano (41st) will host a health fair Saturday at Taft High School.
The health fair will offer health screenings as well as free flu shots from the Chicago Department of Health. It will take place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Taft High School, 6530 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
In addition, child safety information, employment services, financial planning information and help for senior citizens will also be available, organizers said.
Flu season typically starts in the fall and peaks in January or February, and the influenza vaccine is the best protection against getting sick, city health officials said.
