Chatham Shooting Wounds 2 Men, Might Be Domestic-Related, Police Say

CHICAGO — Two men were shot and wounded in Chatham on Thursday night, police said.

At 8 p.m., the men were sitting in a car in the 8600 block of South Lafayette when someone fired shots, hitting them, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

A 55-year-old man was hit in his right leg and a 54-year-old man was hit in his right shoulder, Pacheco said. They were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition.

The incident might be domestic-related, police said.

No one was in custody.
