Uptown Man Charged After Police Find $121,000 Worth Of Meth

UPTOWN — Officers seized more than $121,000 worth of crystal meth during a raid in Uptown last week, according to the Chicago Police Department.

In a tweet, first reported by Uptown Update, the police department found almost 13 ounces of methamphetamine after raiding a home in the 900 block of West Agatite Avenue last Friday.

The department's Bureau of Organized crime estimated the street value of the drugs at $121,242, according to the tweet.

Richard Conner, 61, of the same block, was charged with possession of 100-400 grams of meth, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after the raid, police said.
