EDISON PARK — Far Northwest Side residents can safely dispose of sensitive documents and protect themselves from identity theft at an event set for Saturday.

Resident can take advantage of free document shredding from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday in the parking lot at Happy Foods, 6415 N. Central Ave., in Edgebrook.

The event is sponsored by 41st Ward Democratic Committeeman Tim Heneghan, 39th Ward Democratic Committeeman Robert Murphy and Cook County Commissioner Bridget Gainer.
