BRIDGEPORT — A Halloween festival is coming to Mark Sheridan Math & Science Academy.

From 5-7 p.m. Oct. 21 students are invited to the school at 533 W. 27th St. for the first ever "Trunk-or-Treat Festival."

Families and local businesses are welcome to decorate the trunks of their cars with Halloween decorations and pass out candy to trick-or-treating students.

Prizes will be awarded to the most creative and "best-themed" trunk.

Admission is $5 for children, and adults get in free.

There will be food trucks, music and inflatables.

All proceeds will support a new media room at Mark Sheridan.
