October Police Meetings Kick Off Wednesday For Wicker, Bucktown Residents

WICKER PARK — Wicker Park and Bucktown residents concerned about crime can meet with officers at three upcoming Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy meetings.

Shakespeare District beat officers and resident facilitators will be on hand for each meeting. The gatherings are held every other month. View the October calendar here.

Wednesday

Wicker Park's Beat 1424 meeting will be held at 7 pm. Wednesday in the Wicker Park Field House, 1425 N. Damen Ave.

Beat 1424 is bordered by North avenue on the north, Division street on the south, Wood Street on the east and Western Avenue on the west.

Wednesday, Oct. 19

A meeting for Wicker Park, Bucktown and Logan Square "Beat 1434" will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 at the Bucktown/Wicker Park library, 1701 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Beat 1434 is a bordered by Armitage Avenue on the north, North Avenue on the south, Wood Street on the east, and Rockwell Street on the west.

Thurs. Oct. 20

A meet for Noble Square "Beat 1433" will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 20 at the Pulaski Park Field House, 1419 W. Blackhawk St.

Beat 1433 is bordered by Wood Street to the west, the Chicago River to the east, Division Street to the south and Armitage Avenue to the north.
