BRIDGEPORT — Charles “Peanut” Tillman will be remembered as the Chicago Bear who punched loose more fumbles during 13 NFL seasons than any other defensive back in the league.

Now Tillman’s bringing his signature “Peanut Punch” to Bridgeport to show pizza lovers the only spot to order a pie in Chicago — Fabulous Freddies Italian Eatery.

Take a look:

In September, Tillman teamed up with Freddies to bring money to the Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation, a charity supporting critically and chronically ill children throughout Chicago.

Now, every time you buy a jumbo pizza from Freddies during the 2016-17 NFL season, $2 of your bill goes to Tillman's foundation.

"He's a genuinely nice person," said Christie Bertucci, part owner and a manager at Freddies.

Tillman visited Freddies in September to film the promotional video for the pizza partnership. His presence caused a stir in the neighborhood.

"It was so crazy. He starting taking orders behind the counter and talking to customers," Bertucci said. "He's so down to earth."

On July 18, after 13 seasons in the NFL, Tillman announced his retirement from football via a three-minute YouTube video. He signed a ceremonial one-day contract to retire with the Chicago Bears on July 22.

Check out some highlights of "The Peanut Punch," the move that made Tillman a force to dread on the gridiron:
