CHICAGO — Five teenagers of all different ages were wounded in separate shootings in the Austin neighborhood between 4-10 p.m. Monday, police said.

• Most recently, at 9:53 p.m. Monday, two boys were riding in a car traveling east in the 5500 block of West Lake Street when someone shot at them from the sidewalk, according to a police incident report.

One boy, 13, was shot in his left leg, police said. The other boy, 14, was shot in his right knee.

Both were taken to West Suburban Hospital, where they were both considered "stable," police said.

• At 8:55 p.m., a 19-year-old man was riding in a car traveling north in the 100 block of North Cicero Avenue when someone shot at him from a nearby silver sedan, police said.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was considered "stable" with gunshot wound in his buttocks, police said.

• At 8:10 p.m., officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 800 block of North Central Avenue, where they found a 15-year-old boy lying on the sidewalk, according to Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The boy was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, Amezaga said.

• At 4:15 p.m., a 17-year-old was standing on the sidewalk in the 200 block of South Central Avenue when someone shot at him from a passing car, Amezaga said.

The teen brought himself to West Suburban Hospital after being shot in his chest, left leg and left arm, Amezaga said. He was later transferred to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Police said the teen is a documented gang member.

No one was in custody for any of the shootings, police said.
