MORGAN PARK — The Beverly Arts Center will offer a Drop-In Arts Camp for children in preschool through eighth grade should Chicago Public School teachers go on strike Oct. 11.

Much like its summer arts camp, the drop-in camp will be taught by artists. Students will spend the day singing, dancing, acting, playing games, making crafts, creating visual art projects and more.

Registration will occur on a daily basis beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the studio theater of the community arts center at 2407 W. 111th St. in Morgan Park. It costs $45 per day for the camp or $41 for art center members.

The camp runs from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. Before care is available beginning at 7:30 a.m. for a $5 fee, and after care is available from 4-6 p.m. for a $10 fee. Participants must bring their own lunch, drink and morning snack.

For more information, contact Carly Bishop, the art center's outreach manager, at carly@beverlyartcenter.org or call 773-445-3838.
