BUCKTOWN — Cubs fans with a penchant for sweets are in luck: Goddess and Grocer is among retailers offering specially designed baked goods geared toward the playoff-bound team.

A portion of the proceeds from sales of the playoff-inspired "#FlytheW Cakes" at Goddess and Grocer will be donated to the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation.

The nonprofit foundation raises money for cancer research and provides support to children and families fighting the disease. Goddess and Grocer says it will give $10 to the foundation for each $80 cake bought and $1 for every $7 slice.

Along with cakes, the grocer has also introduced a playoff catering menu with cupcakes, cake pops and savory "Jake" and "Rizzo" sandwiches. One dollar from each sandwich sale will be donated to the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation.

The following offerings — added to the menus of all four Goddess and Grocer locations on Tuesday —  will be available through the playoffs, with a limited number of cakes in the stores.

The #FlyTheW Cake is six layers of red and blue cake layered with vanilla buttercream and topped with the blue W of the Cubs flag.

The "We Believe Cupcakes" are white, chocolate, and red velvet, with a variety of frostings and topped
with Cubs-themed designs. The cost is $3 per cupcake.

The "Go Cubs Go Cake Pops" are made with red or blue vanilla cake balls on a stick, dipped in white frosting and decorated in red and blue. The cost is $2.5 per cake pop.

"The Rizzo Sandwich" is made with Chipotle braised carnitas in a torta, loaded with black bean corn relish, tomatillo salsa, queso fresco, avocado, and cilantro cream. The cost is $11.

"The Jake Sandwich" is a whole wheat wrap made with grilled chicken breast, edamame hummus, broccoli chard slaw and peanut ginger sauce. The cost is $9.50.
