CHICAGO — Two people were shot in Back of the Yards on Wednesday night, police said.
At 11 p.m., a man and woman were standing on the sidewalk in the 5100 block of South Hermitage Avenue when three men on bicycles rode past and fired shots, police said.
A 41-year-old woman was hit in her left shoulder and was taken to Stroger Hospital and a 28-year-old man was hit in his right shoulder and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital. Their conditions were not available but they were listed as "stable," police said.
No one was in custody.
