Auburn Gresham Shooting Wounds Man, 22, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 22-year-old man was wounded during a shooting in Auburn Gresham on Wednesday night, police said.

At 6:55 p.m., the man was walking down the sidewalk in the 8400 block of South Throop Street when three men fired shots at him, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was hit in his lower right leg and was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Pacheco said.

No one was in custody.
