COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A former Noble Square high school teacher has been sentenced to two years probation for sending students Snapchat photos of his penis and groping two of them.

Angel Pagan, 32, pleaded guilty last month to aggravated criminal sexual abuse, sexual exploitation of a child and manufacturing harmful material.

Cook County Judge William G. Lacy has sentenced Pagan to six months in Cook County Jail followed by two years of probation, court records show. Pagan will also have to pay $1,149 in court fees.

According to court records, Pagan was credited with serving more than six months in county lockup while awaiting trial. His bail was set at $500,000 in January.

According to prosecutors, Pagan sent multiple explicit photos to three students — two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old — and went as far as to grope two of those students.

Pagan was "swiftly removed" in January from Noble Street College Prep, 1010 N. Noble St., the charter school where Pagan worked as a dance teacher and dance coach, a school spokesman previously said. Pagan began working at the high school in 2008.
