CHICAGO — A shooting in Austin left a man wounded on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
At 2:02 p.m., the man was in the 500 block of North Laramie Avenue when he was shot in his right hip, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman. The man, whose age and condition were not immediately available, was taken to a hospital.
No one was in custody.
