Englewood Shootings Wound 4 People In 1 Hour Early Saturday

CHICAGO — Shootings in Englewood left four people wounded early Saturday, including three people shot at a party, police said.

• At 4:15 a.m., a 26-year-old man was leaving a party in the 7100 block of South Vincennes Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

The man was hit in his leg and foot and took himself to St. Bernard Hospital, police said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said, and was uncooperative.

• At 3:09 a.m., three people were at a party in the 6800 block of South Emerald Avenue when someone took out a gun and fired shots, police said.

A 25-year-old man was shot in his chest and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said. A 29-year-old man was shot in his leg and a 24-year-old woman was shot in her wrist. They were taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good conditions, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
