CHICAGO — Havas is encouraging people with breasts to to check themselves out with a "boob pit" this October.
The boob pit at Havas, 36 E. Grand Ave., will feature 3-foot latex balloons painted to look like breasts and placed in a Plexiglass room, according to a Havas news release. Bright signs on windows will encourage people to come inside the building's lobby, where they can "frolic" in the boob pit.

Havas, a marketing firm, hopes the boob pit will call attention to Breast Cancer Awareness month and encourage women and men to check their breasts for lumps and abnormalities throughout October. The exhibit opens Tuesday.
The firm will also donate money to charities FAB-U-WISH and the Pink Agenda every time someone uses the hashtag #CheckYoSelf this month, Havas said. Those organizations help research breast cancer and help people undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
