CHICAGO — A police chase that started in North Lawndale ended in a car crash on Wednesday evening, police said.
At 4:56 p.m., officers at Harrison Street and Sacramento Boulevard began to follow a car, according to a Chicago Police news release. The car crashed at Harrison and Western and the passenger ran away, but the driver was taken into custody and charges were pending, police said.
No one was injured in the crash.
