Drive-by Shooting Captured On Surveillance Video

BRIDGEPORT — A surveillance video obtained by DNAinfo shows a Saturday morning drive-by shooting in Bridgeport.

At 4:38 a.m., a red car rolled down an alley near the 3300 block of South Carpenter Street and someone stuck a gun out the window and pulled the trigger six times.

A neighbor dialed 911 and reported shots fired. Police showed up and found a 34-year-old woman who said another woman had punched her in the face, according to Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

Police could not find anyone who had been shot, but a nearby neighbor captured the drive-by on a surveillance video.
