LOGAN SQUARE — A 29-year-old man was shot in both ankles in Logan Square early Sunday morning, police said.

At 4:24 a.m., the man was walking on the sidewalk in the 2900 block of North Sawyer Avenue when a man shot at him from a passing black sedan, according to a police incident report.

The man was brought to Norwegian Hospital, where he was considered "stable" with gunshot wounds in both ankles, police said.

No one is in custody, police said.
