West Ridge Shooting Wounds Man, 24, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in West Ridge left a 24-year-old man wounded Thursday night, police said.

At 11:32 p.m., the man was walking on the sidewalk in the 7000 block of North Sacramento Avenue when someone in a car fired shots, police said.

The man was hit in his left forearm and was taken to St. Francis Hospital. His condition was not available, but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
