UPTOWN — Red Line riders will have a number of inconveniences to deal with this weekend as station work continues along the line.

From 9 a.m. Friday-4 a.m. Monday, the CTA will conduct track and structure work between the Wilson and Lawrence stations that will cause some dust and noise in the area as part of the Wilson Station Rehabilitation project, according to a press release from the CTA.

"While progress sometimes comes with inconveniences, we will do our best to keep them to a minimum," the CTA said.

The track maintenance also means northbound Red Line trains will not stop at the Wilson, Lawrence or Argyle stops from 9 p.m. Friday-5 a.m. Monday. Southbound trains will not be affected, according to Uptown Update.

For service to these stations, take a Northbound train to Berwyn and transfer to a southbound train. For service from these stations take a southbound train to Sheridan and transfer to a northbound train.
