Is Montrose Beach The Best Dog-Friendly Beach In America?

UPTOWN — Montrose Beach has been nominated for Best Dog-Friendly Beach in the USA Today's Reader's Choice 2016 awards.

The beach at 4400 N. Lake Shore Dr. is currently ranked second in the contest.

The other nominees include: Arroyo Burro Beach Park in California, Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland, Bald Head Island in North Carolina, Bonita Beach Dog Park in Florida, Burkes Beach in North Carolina, Cannon Beach in Oregon, Carmel Beach in California and Double Bluff Beach in Washington.

You can vote for Montrose Beach once per day until Oct. 10 here.

The winner will be announced Oct. 14.
