UPTOWN — Police are searching for a 61-year-old man who was last seen in Uptown last week.
Jesus Ortiz, of the 4500 block of North Sheridan Road, was reported missing at 2:44 a.m. last Wednesday. He was last seen leaving his home wearing tan shorts with no shirt or shoes, according to a missing person report by the Chicago Police Department.
Ortiz suffers from a mental condition and can hear but cannot speak, the report said.
He is about 6-feet tall and weighs around 165 lbs. He is a Hispanic man with brown hair and brown eyes, the report said.
