CHICAGO — A 27-year-old woman was stabbed after leaving Riot Fest Sunday, according to police.

She left Riot Fest at about 3 p.m. and was walking in the 2100 block of South Kedzie Avenue when she got into a "domestic altercation" with a 27-year-old man she knows, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police Department spokeswoman.

She was stabbed in her left arm, right side and right leg, Lemmon said. She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she was expected to be treated and released, Lemmon said.

The man is not in custody, Lemmon said.

Riot Fest was in Douglas Park, 1401 S. Sacramento Dr., from Friday through Sunday.
