WICKER PARK — It's another big weekend in the neighborhood.

Here are our picks for fun things to do and see in the Wicker Park, Bucktown and West Town areas.

Celebrate All Things Literary. The Wicker Park & West Town Lit Fest hosts a story slam, workshops, author readings, signings, performances by children's musician "Mr. Dave," a book swap and more. View the festival's full schedule of 20 events. Times and locations vary.

Relive the 80s with Free Eggos, Art. Two dozen artists including Mike Norton have created works inspired by the 80s for "Something is Going On Here!" All items will be available to buy during and after the show, which will offer free drinks and Eggo waffles. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Toy de Jour, 2064 N. Western Ave.

Bike the Sprawling 2nd Ward. Join Ald. Brian Hopkins (2nd) on a 7.5-mile social ride, or take a shorter family-friendly route. Free refreshments, safety checks and T-shirts will be provided. Free, RSVP online.  From 7:30 a.m. to Noon Saturday, meet at 1400 N. Ashland Ave.

Enjoy the Midnight Circus. The traveling Midnight Circus heads to Wicker Park's namesake park with five shows. The performances are at 7 p.m. Friday; and 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets — $15 for children and $20 for adults — can be bought here. At 1425 N. Damen Ave. in Wicker Park.

Peruse Art at Pulaski Park. The "More Strange than True" group exhibition features works by 11 artists  "asked to relate to Pulaski Park in a distanced, mental and imaginative way rather than in a physical way," curator Fieldwork says. The show opens from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and runs through Nov. 12. In the Pulaski Park Field House, 1419 W. Blackhawk St.

Play Bags, Win Cubs Playoff Tickets. Got a good throw? Fox Ford Lincoln is celebrating its first anniversary with an “ultimate tailgate" party offering free Chicago-style hot dogs, the opportunity to win playoff baseball tickets in a Bags Tournament and mingling with Bears legends Steve McMichael and Gary Fencik. The party runs from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, with bags tournament at 1:10 p.m. The football stars will be available from 1 to 3 p.m., organizers say. At 2501 N. Elston Ave.

Make an Instrument, Play it During a '606' Peace Procession.  The city's International Day of Peace celebration will bring free instrument-making stations to the Milwaukee/Leavitt Park in Bucktown and the Ridgeway Trailhead in Humboldt Park, followed by a march and a picnic at the Humboldt Park Boat House. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday; see schedule for locations.

Buy Squash at the Farmers Market. Score fresh veggies, meats, eggs, pastries, pasta, fruit, jam, coffee from Half-Wit Roasters, and fresh crepes made onsite at the weekly Wicker Park Farmers Market, every Sunday in the park. See the full vendor list.  Hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the park, 1425 N. Damen Ave.
