EDGEBROOK — The slight chill in the air means it is time to break out the lederhosen to help Edgebrook Elementary School.
Sponsored by Edgebrook School Friends, the sixth-annual fest will take place from 7-11 p.m. Saturday near Hiawatha and Legett avenues, organizers said.
Tickets are $50, and must be bought by Friday morning, organizers said.
Organizers promise German beer, food and merrymaking — otherwise known as "Himmel der Bareyn" or heaven for Bavarians.
Proceeds from the event will benefit school programs, organizers said.
