CHATHAM — Two women were shot and critically wounded inside a Chatham home Thursday afternoon, police said.

At 5:48 p.m., the women were inside the residence in the 600 block of East 92nd Place when multiple people shot at them from the street, according to Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The women, ages 41 and 19, were both brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center, Quaid said. The older woman was shot in her neck, and the younger woman was shot three times in her torso and once in her leg.
