EDISON PARK — The sixth-annual Edison Park Restaurant Week will give diners a chance to sample some of the neighborhood's best restaurants without breaking the bank.

Started in 2010 by the Edison Park Chamber of Commerce to boost business during a slow time of year, the event — which starts Monday and ends Sept. 25 — showcases 10 local restaurants, organizers said.

Participating restaurants are Cafe Touche, Don Juan's Chicago, Edison Park Inn, Elliott's Seafood Grille & Chop House, Firewater Saloon, Mecca Supper Club, Moretti's Edison Park, Nonno Pino's Italian Kitchen in Edison Park, The Curragh Irish Pub and Zia's Trattoria.
