Dominice Hallom, 27, Killed, Second Man Wounded In Chicago Lawn Shooting

CHICAGO LAWN- A Chicago Lawn shooting Saturday left one man dead and another man wounded, police said. 

At 2 p.m., two men, 27 and 26, were sitting in a parked car in the 3000 block of West 63rd Street when a group of people approached and opened fire, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman. 

The 27-year-old, who was identified as Dominice Hallom by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office, was shot in the head and torso. He was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m.

The 26-year-old was shot in the left leg, arm, torso and buttocks. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, Estrada said. 

No one is in custody for the shooting, police said.
