Morgan Park Shooting Wounds Man, 22, Sitting Outside Home, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Morgan Park left a 22-year-old man wounded on Thursday night, police said.

At 11:40 p.m., the man was in front of a home in the 1100 block of West 112th Place when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

The man was hit in his left leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
