JEFFERSON PARK — Singer-songwriter Robbie Fulks will perform and discuss his career as part of the Words and Music series at the Ed Paschke Art Center, organizers said.
Fulks, known for his meticulously crafted alt-country songs infused with melancholy, will perform at 3 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Ed Paschke Art Center, 5415 W. Higgins Ave.
Fulks will discuss his career with fellow Chicago musician Nicholas Tremulis.
The Words and Music series is designed to give Tremulis an opportunity to craft "a live musical biography" by asking performers about "living, loving and surviving a life in music," organizers said.
The Ed Paschke Art Center in Jefferson Park is dedicated to showcasing the colorful and up-close paintings that made Paschke one of the most famous artists to call Chicago home.
Admission to the museum and the concert is free, but reservations are required.
